Warm, lively and full of character, this orange linen saree puts a bright spin on the classic Madras check. The body is woven in bold blocks of orange and vermilion, set against maroon, brown, royal blue, purple and touches of green, so the checks glow in daylight. It finishes in a cream pallu with rows of multicolor stepped diamond motifs between fine dark lines, framed by a temple-style edge. The linen weave is light and breathable, which suits long days and warm weather. A blouse piece comes with the saree.

Body: Large Madras check blocks in orange, vermilion, maroon, brown, royal blue, purple and green, with a soft, slightly slubby linen texture.
Border: Dark green-black side borders with a narrow golden-tan edge, plus a temple-triangle edge where the checks meet the pallu.
Pallu: A cream pallu with several rows of multicolor stepped diamond (temple) motifs in orange, maroon, blue, green and purple, a dark band at the end, and a small checked strip along the hem.
Finish: A natural, matte linen finish that softens with every wash and drapes with a crisp fall.
Color Combination: Orange-led checks with maroon and blue accents against a cream pallu, framed by dark borders.
Technique: Handloom-style woven checks with a yarn-dyed look, and woven temple motifs in the pallu.
