The heavy purple pallu is the highlight, woven in rose-Golden zari with fine horizontal bands of leaf, vine and chevron motifs. Wide rose-Golden side borders with a lotus and bird design frame the saree, and a deep purple hem band completes the drape. The semi silk fabric is soft and light with a gentle sheen, so it falls gracefully and stays comfortable through long functions.
